A Magical Meeting with Father Christmas at Hoghton Tower

Marvel at the magic of Christmas at Hoghton Tower in our magnificent Banqueting Hall where you will find Father Christmas next to the roaring log fire waiting to chat with you in small groups. He will make sure that he knows what every child would like to find on Christmas morning. Each child will receive a gift from underneath the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree and there will be time for you to take individual or family pictures in the festive surroundings.

Your ticket will only be valid for the session booked so please allow plenty of time to park and make your way up to the House (approximately 5 -10 minutes walk). Multiple families will be booked in during each 15 minute time slot.

All children require a ticket regardless of age.

As you know, Father Christmas is an extremely popular man during the festive period, and as such we have allocated times slots to minimise waiting times. To help us maintain minimal queuing times, please arrive at the entrance (signposted on site) no more than 5 minutes earlier than the beginning of your booked slot. However, please do ensure that you allow enough time to park your car and walk up to the house, especially if you are visiting on our Farmers’ Market Day (Sunday 17th December 2023) when the driveway and car park are extremely busy. Please remember to dress warmly and appropriately for the weather as you may need to wait outside.

Refreshments

The tearoom will be open 10am - 4pm. If you would like to take advantage of the children's lunch package (£6.00), please pre-book to ensure availability. There will be sandwiches, cakes and drinks available for adults to purchase.

Children's Lunch Package: Cheese or Ham Sandwich, a drink, a packet of crisps, a biscuit, and a piece of fruit /raisins (all items are subject to availability).

Please include any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Please be aware that although we take precautions and prepare your food with care, we are unable to guarantee that any item is free from cross-contamination from any allergen.
