Afternoon Tea at Hoghton Tower

Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at the majestic 16th century Hoghton Tower.

Our friendly team will serve a delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights including savouries and sandwiches, a homemade scone served with clotted cream and jam and other sweet treats.  All this paired with freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Afternoon Teas must be prebooked and all visitors on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May 2023 must hold a valid site admission ticket for the War of the Roses event. 

If you would like to book for a party of 5 or more, please email us at mail@hoghtontower.co.uk first to discuss availability. 

Please advise us of any dietary requirements during the checkout process. We take all allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements very seriously and our staff take the utmost care in preparing your food, however, our kitchen does handle allergens and we therefore cannot guarantee that there is no cross contamination. 

Our tearoom is situated in the Inner Courtyard which is accessed via two flights of stone steps without a handrail or altenatively, a single flight of narrower stone steps with a handrail. Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable, please check the details carefully and ensure that you can commit to the date and time before you complete your booking as regrettably, we are unable to accommodate any changes once your booking is finalised.

If we have to cancel your booking for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your ticket to an alternative session (subject to availability).
