"E Lucevan le Stelle"

Join us for a delightful evening, where you can enjoy Opera in the Banqueting Hall at Hoghton Tower, whilst you dine. The evening will commence with a prosecco reception and a selection of canapes, followed by a three course meal in the beautiful Banqueting Hall. ​​

As you dine, you will enjoy a series of opera performances from Sopranos, Georgina Rosanna Murray and Helen Latham, Tenor, Phillip Clieve and Bass, Thomas Coltman. ​

​The musicians have performed around the UK and their astounding voices will entertain you with a variety of well loved opera arias, duets, and ensembles from Mozart, Gounod, Bizet, Puccini, Straus, Porter, Lehaz, and Verdi.

Arrival for drinks & canapes from 6.30pm.​

Seating for Dinner is at 7.30pm.​

Please arrange carriages for 11.00pm

The evening is in aid of the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust. The proceeds raised from this fundraising event will go towards our designated fund for the restoration of the windows in our magnificent Banqueting Hall. Registered Charity Number: 508357

​To book your ticket/s please visit the events page on our website (tickets selling online from Friday 1st February)  www.hoghtontower.co.uk . If you prefer to call the office on 01254 852986, we can take card payments or alternatively once you have booked your tickets you can send a cheque made payable to Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust. ​

Please remember to advise us of any dietary requirements when booking.​

​Dress Code – Black Tie​

Whilst the fires will be lit, we would advise you to dress warmly for the evening as this historic building can feel chilly.​

Parking – Please make your way up the drive towards the tower and you will be met by our parking steward who will direct you where to park on the tilting greens at either side of the drive.​

​Canapes and prosecco served on arrival, followed by a 3 course dinner and freshly brewed Tea & Coffee.​

Starter – ​

  • Leek and Potato soup (Artisan Breads)​

Main – ​

  • Ballotine of Chicken Stuffed with Sun Blushed Tomato and Fresh Basil, served with Pink Peppercorn and Champagne sauce, Fondant Potatoes, Chantennay Carrots and Braised Leeks​

  • Vegetarian option – Mushroom & Tarragon Pearl Barley Risotto, Crispy Leeks.​

Dessert – ​

  • Baked Vanilla Cheesecake, Mango and Passion Fruit Coulis, Honeycomb, Coconut & Cardamom Ice Cream​

Drinks – ​

The Bar is open throughout the duration of the event for drinks, please note this is cash only.
