Tudor Yule Afternoon Tea
TUDOR YULE AFTERNOON TEA & TALK IN THE BANQUETING HALL (2PM - 4PM)
Step back in time this festive season and indulge in a midwinter afternoon tea, inspired by the 16th century and set within the walls of our splendid Banqueting Hall (2pm - 4pm).
Our Banqueting Hall shall come alive with warmth and wonder; it’s walls decked with holly, winter greenery, and a roaring fire will fill the hearth to chase away the December chill.
Enjoy warm mulled wine, homemade scones with clotted cream and a selection of festive foods as you are entertained by costumed guides who will gift you with fascinating talks about traditional Tudor Christmas customs.
Learn how your ancestors, from centuries ago, began many of the Christmas traditions that we still enjoy today while feasting upon seasonal treats.
Perfect for history lovers and festive seekers.
